Carlos Santos (Portugal, 1975) immigrated to Montreal in 1976 with his family.
In 1993, he found his true vocation after discovering the work of French artist Moebius (alias Jean Giraud) at the CEGEP du Vieux-Montréal’s library during his graphic design studies.
He then quit school and in 1995 started making his own comics, joining the Montreal underground comic scene under the name d.bilos.
His comics have been published in various anthologies and fanzines (Cyclops, 106U, Stripburger, FishPiss, Image Gun) and his illustrations have appeared in both the Montreal Mirror and Ici Montréal newspapers.
He joined the EN MASSE crew for the Dice Show (2010). His book Raio que te parta! was published in 2011 by Editions Trip.
